This course consists of project work and an Industry Study. Focus areas include the following industries: Automotive, Building and Construction, Electronics, Graphics, Metals and Engineering, Multimedia, Plastics, Timber Products and Furniture.

Students study and develop engineering reports for modules, including:

· Bio-Engineering

Design & Technology - 2 unit
Students study design processes, design theory and factors in relation to design products.
They also study designing and producing which includes the completion of a Major Design Project.

Information Processes & Technology - 2 unit
The study of computer based information systems. Through project work, students will create their own information system to meet an identified need.

Software Design & Development - 2 unit
Introduces students to the basic concepts of computer design and development.
Students develop and document software. Through this, students will learn to solve a number of interesting and relevant software problems.
