Geography - Years 7 to 10 (mandatory)
This course stimulates students’ interest in the interaction of the physical and human environments. Students achieve this as they develop geographic knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and values. This course also provides opportunities for students to engage in the community as informed and active citizens.
Years 7 - 8 Global Geography
Topics include:
- Investigating the world
- Global environments
- Global Change
- Global issues and the role of citizens
Years 9 – 10 Australian Geography
Topics include:
- Investigating Australia’s physical environments
- Changing Australian Communities
- Issues in Australian environments
- Australia’s place in the region and the world.
Geography Preliminary and HSC Course - 2 unit
This course enables students to study the biophysical and human aspects of the changing world.
Topics include:
- Biophysical interactions
- Senior Geography Project

- People and Economic activity
Commerce - Years 9 and 10 (elective)
Commerce students develop the skills to make informed and responsible decisions as individuals and as part of the community.
