Science
The Corowa High School Science Program enables students to become knowledgeable and active members of our increasingly scientific and technological society. In order for students to become responsible citizens, they must be able to analyse and understand the impact of science and technology on their lives, their society and their environment. The Junior Science course exposes students to the knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to fulfill this role.
SCIENCE - Years 7 to 10 (mandatory)

HSC SCIENCE COURSES - Years 11 and 12
A range of Higher School Certificate courses are offered for students wishing to pursue further studies in Science.

Safety
The Science Faculty actively teaches students to be concerned with safety, particularly concentrating on the role of Occupational
Health and Safety in the laboratory and work place. Training continues throughout all years studied.
Extra-Curricula Activities
Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities, including the Murray Freshwater School of Research Summer Schools, the National Youth Science Forum, the Australian Mineral Adventure and the Australasian Schools’ Science Competition.
