School History
In 1927 a site of ten acres on the corner of Honour Avenue and Victoria Streets became available for the erection of secondary school buildings which were completed in 1930. These buildings consisted of a classroom and science accommodation, offices, assembly hall and a manual training room.
When the secondary enrolment numbered 133 in 1928 the school was made into an Intermediate High School. In 1965 the secondary section became a full High School with an enrolment of 276 pupils.
The new High School was opened and occupied in 1968 on the site of the old Corowa Showground, set on 19 acres. The original high school building was demolished and the primary and infants schools moved into new buildings on that site in 1972.
